Quinta Casa Amarela
A production of wines at Quinta da Casa Amarela follows a meticulous production system where qualitative concerns prevail. The grapes, after careful selection, are vinified in granite lagares with foot treading. When fermentation begins, an intense maceration process also starts to extract the maximum from the grape skins. The lagares are equipped with a cooling system to ensure fermentation occurs with temperature control.
Vinification: Made from grapes from vines over 65 years old. Total destemming, foot treading in granite lagares. Alcoholic fermentation in lagar for 6 days, with continuous work and controlled temperature. Malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Subsequently, aging for 12 months in new French oak barrels. Automatic filling, with pre-rinsing and inerting. Bottle aging for at least 6 months before commercialization.
